Hebrew Voices #253 – Seven Years of Work – Gone!
In this episode of Hebrew Voices #253 – Seven Years of Work - Gone!, Nehemia Gordon tells how seven years of manuscript research, data from the Vatican, the British Library, and the Russian National Library, vanished when Microsoft erased his organization's OneDrive. He's joined by Hans Brender, known internationally as "Mr. OneDrive," and by computer engineer Lynell Gordon to explain the trappings behind it. Essential listening for anyone whose life's work lives in the cloud.

Your experience losing 7 years of data must have been horrifying! What a blessing that you were able to get it back again!
Years ago I lost a 10 page thesis because I clicked “Save” instead of “Save As” during a thunderstorm. The power glitched and that was the end of all my hard work.
I then thought I was safe saving all my writing online – then my email was hacked and I still haven’t been able to get back in.
“There is one who comes to steal, slaughter and destroy.”
I have come to see the only reliable protection is prayer. Praying protection over your ministry.
Praying for everything to go according to Our Father’s plans for you.
Amazingly Brilliant Miracle! I Thank you for sharing this incredible story of recovering all your files. As I said & continue to comment a few weeks ago, several months ago & several years ago Dr. Nehemia Gordon, and I will reiterate it again (I am now overwhelmed again & getting goosebumps now but not as much goosebumps as the first time I heard you on the Rood Awakening Show & was restless for 7 days in learning you announcing your Research into the Accurate Spelling, Accurate Pronunciation of The Almighty God YHVH Holy and Sacred Name with the Correct Hebrew Vowels’ in the Tetragrammaton) Truly, I say Dr. Nehemia Gordon, you were known before you were born, and who to marry to be natured in life & be prepared for life as you have a “Sacred Task” in amplifying the Accurate Name of The Almighty God YHVH to all Gentiles and to all nations. As a side note, I have won the first part of my Judicial Review in the National Court in Madang, Papua New Guinea & the door is open to go into full National Court Trial regarding our traditional customary lands & our resources & when that is all done & our various Projects are up & running I will honor the commitment I made to you, to your Ministry & to Makor Hebrew Foundation to continue the tremendous work in amplifying The Almighty God YHVH Holy and Sacred Name around the world. I simply ask for your prayers in our journey of over 137 years to have our traditional customary land returned & that your prayers also cover that we win our case at the National Court in Madang, Papua New Guinea. Shalom.
I figured out a good while ago, that I might lose data because I did fully understand the rules. As a result I do keep a backup on an external hard drive. I backup the data using “Robocopy” using a command file. It is faster and easier to do regularly than copy and paste.
